Dr. Heinrichs received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of Saskatchewan, graduating in 2006. After dental school, Dr. Heinrichs furthered his education by attending West Virginia University’s Orthodontics Residency Program, receiving his Masters of Science degree in 2010.

Throughout his orthodontic career, Dr. Heinrichs has become involved in many professional Orthodontic and Dental Organizations. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontics, the Canadian Dental Association, the Saskatchewan Society of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontics, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the Saskatchewan College of Dental Surgeons, the Swift Current Dental Society and the Saskatoon Dental Society. He is also a part-time orthodontic clinical faculty at the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Heinrichs is currently an elected council member of the Saskatchewan College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr. Heinrichs is a hard working and dedicated individual who is motivated by challenges and feels great satisfaction in finding creative solutions. "I want to help people who are self conscious about their teeth to be confident and proud of their smiles." He enjoys learning about and implementing the newest techniques and innovations in orthodontics, and has a special interest in complex treatment planning utilizing the Invisalign appliance system and utilization of the AcceleDent appliance to try to shorten treatment times.

He and his wife, Thea, have a son Alexander, and a daughter Athena. Together, they enjoy hiking, traveling and photography. They enjoy going to Saskatchewan Roughrider and West Virginia Mountaineer football games, as well as watching CFL, NCAA and NFL football, NCAA Basketball, hockey, and curling.
